About Hawaii Equity Life Estate

As 30+ year veterans of Hawaii Real Estate, we have seen many of our senior clients sell their homes, thinking that there was no other option for them. They needed to get money to afford to move into a care home, since they could not afford to have home care.  With the demand so high, the cost of care homes and home care services skyrocketed.  The State estimated the number of care homes to continue to increase, as the 'Baby Boomer' generation gets into their senior years in the next 10 year.  We saw a need and a strong desire for people to want to stay and live out their lives in their home.  With very limited or little income, many could not qualify for a Home Equity Loan, so this left the sale of the home or a Reverse Mortgage as their only options.

Seeing this dilemma, we created the Hawaii Equity Share Life Estate contract.  We approached investors and found there was a large interest among investment firms and accredited investors, who felt that investing in Hawaii real estate was a good choice for their portfolio.  With over $10 million in investment credit, we established ourselves as Hawaii's first and only Equity Sharing Life Estate Company.

Our Mission – To offer an alternative to Hawaii’s Senior citizens struggling to survive in the costly ‘paradise’ they call home, by taking a solid asset and making it liquid, yet allowing them to stay in their home till their end of life.  It is an option to a reverse mortgage, that depletes their equity over time.  Instead, leveraging a portion of their equity and keeping the rest for their beneficiaries.
